Layered sandstone tones give Blendstone a softer, more natural presence than most outdoor porcelain. The four colours, Ivory, Sabbia, Anthracita and Tortora, move from pale cream through sand to deep charcoal, each printed with non-repeating faces so the variation reads as genuine stone across a wide terrace. It is a 2cm paver offered in 24x24, 24x48 and 48x48 formats.
This is the appeal of sandstone with none of its weaknesses. Real sandstone is porous and prone to moss, spalling and staining in a wet climate, while the porcelain version absorbs almost nothing and never needs sealing. How natural does the sandstone look read up close?
Convincing. The faces are non-repeating, so you will not spot the same veining twice in a normal patio quantity, and the texture follows the print rather than sitting flat. Lay three or four pavers side by side and the blend does the work.
Which colour hides dirt and leaves?
Tortora and Anthracita are the practical picks under trees, since fir needles and leaf stains disappear into the mid and dark tones. Ivory shows debris sooner but keeps shaded yards bright. All four rinse clean easily because the surface is non-porous.
Can Blendstone be installed without concrete?
Yes. The 2cm thickness is designed for dry installation over compacted gravel or coarse sand, and on pedestals for decks. That keeps the base permeable, avoids pouring a slab, and makes future changes as simple as lifting and relaying the pavers.
Are samples available to take outside?
They are, and we encourage it. Colour shifts noticeably between showroom lighting and daylight, especially with warm tones like Sabbia. Take samples home from our Richmond location, set them on the ground where they will live, and view them wet and dry.
