Asphalt Pavers
Limestone Look Porcelain Paver.

Asphalt Pavers
Asphalt pavers deliver a refined limestone aesthetic in large-format 48x48 outdoor porcelain.
Despite the name, Asphalt is a limestone look: a soft, finely textured stone face in four quiet colours, Off White, Mud, Grit and Fume. The collection is a 2cm outdoor porcelain paver led by a large 48x48 format, with 24x24 and 24x48 alongside, and its non-repeating faces keep a big terrace from showing obvious pattern copies.
Limestone itself is a poor fit for the Pacific Northwest, since it is soft and absorbs water; this porcelain version keeps the look and drops the liabilities. Near-zero absorption means frost cannot split it, moss has little to grab, and sealing is never on the calendar. The textured anti-slip finish suits open patios, pool surrounds and rooftop decks around Greater Vancouver.

Applications
Where Asphalt Pavers Works
Large-format terraces
The 48x48 square laid with tight joints gives a calm, monolithic floor that suits modern landscaping and makes a modest patio feel larger, with fewer joints to clean.
Poolside paving
Anti-slip texture underfoot and a body that absorbs almost no water make it safe and stable around chlorinated or salt pools, drying quickly after a swim or a rain.
Rooftop and balcony decks
At 2cm the pavers rest on adjustable pedestals over waterproof membranes, floating a level limestone-look deck above drains, slopes and service runs, with every unit liftable for access.
Outdoor dining areas
A smooth, even stone face keeps tables and chairs steady, and spilled food or wine wipes off a non-porous surface that real limestone would simply absorb.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Off White and Grit brighten shaded courtyards, Mud warms up cedar fencing and planting, and Fume grounds a darker contemporary exterior. For a layered landscape, run Timberwood's wood-look planks under a covered zone and let Asphalt carry the open terrace, or lift the same pavers over a roof deck on Adjustable Height Pedestals. A matching taupe or grey exterior joint keeps the limestone effect continuous rather than gridded.
FAQ
Asphalt Pavers Questions
Why is a limestone-look collection called Asphalt?
It is simply the series name; the face is modelled on soft, honed limestone rather than road surfacing. The four colours read as natural stone neutrals, from Off White through to the smoky grey of Fume, and the texture is a fine stone grain.
Is the 48x48 format hard to install?
The large squares are heavy and generally a two-person lift, so most homeowners bring in an installer. The payoff is fast coverage and very few joints. We offer supply and install, and can also supply only if you already have your own contractor.
How slippery is it when wet?
The finish is a textured anti-slip surface intended for exterior use, so it keeps grip in rain and around pools. It is noticeably more textured than an indoor matte tile. Judge it yourself: run a wet hand over a sample before you decide.
Can I see the full colour range?
All four colours, Fume, Grit, Mud and Off White, are available to view at our Bridgeport Road showroom in Richmond, and samples can go home with you. Weekday hours are 9:00 to 5:30, Saturdays 10 to 5, and walk-ins are welcome.
