Wacom

Wacom is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.

Some rooms want a wallflower; Wacom is not it. This collection puts a bold marble aesthetic on oversized porcelain, with strong veining and non-repeating faces that keep the drama believable across a whole floor or wall. Panels come in 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm, finished in Natural or Polished depending on how much light you want the surface to throw back.

The confidence of the pattern is backed by porcelain's practicality: it will not stain, etch or absorb water the way natural marble can, and it never needs sealing. That makes Wacom a strong candidate for high-use spaces in Metro Vancouver homes, from busy family kitchens to entertaining areas, where a statement surface still has to earn its keep every day.

Applications

Where Wacom Works

Statement kitchen floors

Bold veining across 120 x 120 cm panels anchors an open kitchen, and unsealed-stone worries disappear: spilled wine, sauce and grease wipe off non-porous porcelain.

Feature walls

Book the strongest veined panels for a living room or bedroom feature wall. The 6 mm thickness keeps weight manageable on framed walls with proper backing.

Ensuite wall surrounds

Polished Wacom around a freestanding tub or shower gives the marble-bathroom effect without marble maintenance. Keep the floor in the Natural finish for grip when wet.

Reception and lobby floors

In commercial settings the 12 mm floor panels stand up to carts, heels and constant daily traffic, while the assertive marble pattern gives visitors and clients something memorable to walk in on.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

Give Wacom room to speak. Cabinetry and millwork in matte black, deep navy or plain white keep the palette controlled, and slim-profile fixtures avoid competing lines. If you want tonal continuity into quieter rooms, step down to a soft companion like Monocolor or Cream LF from the same large format family so thresholds transition without a jolt. Tight joints with colour-matched grout preserve the slab illusion.

FAQ

Wacom Questions

Will the pattern repeat noticeably on a big floor?

No. Wacom is produced with non-repeating faces, meaning individual panels carry different sections of the veining. Spread across a floor, the variation reads like a quarried lot rather than a printed pattern. Your installer can dry-lay panels first to balance the strongest veins.

Is a bold tile risky for resale?

Marble looks have stayed in demand for decades, and grounding the drama in a neutral base palette keeps it broadly appealing. Using Wacom on one focal surface, a kitchen floor or a feature wall, rather than everywhere at once is an easy way to manage the intensity.

Can Wacom go in a shower?

Yes, porcelain's near-zero absorption suits wet areas well. Use it freely on shower walls in either finish, but choose the Natural finish for any floor surface that gets wet, since Polished surfaces become slippery with soap and water.

How do I get a sample of Wacom?

Drop by the Ace Premium Tile & Stone showroom in Richmond, where Wacom is on display alongside the rest of the large format collection. Staff can arrange sample pieces to take home, and weekday or Saturday walk-ins need no appointment.
