Vanglih
Luxurious marble veining in oversized porcelain slabs.

Vanglih
Vanglih is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Vanglih carries the kind of deep, flowing marble veining usually reserved for quarried slabs, reproduced across oversized porcelain in 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm formats. The faces are non-repeating, so veins travel naturally from panel to panel rather than stamping out the same pattern. Choose the Natural finish for a soft, honed character or Polished for a reflective, formal read.
Porcelain gives the look staying power: near-zero water absorption, no sealing, and a surface that shrugs off daily traffic. Thinner panels around 6 mm suit wall cladding, while thicker 12 mm pieces are built for floors. For Metro Vancouver homes chasing a continuous, gallery-like surface with minimal grout interruption, Vanglih is a practical route to the marble look without marble upkeep.

Applications
Where Vanglih Works
Open-plan living floors
Fewer grout lines across a 120 x 120 cm grid keep sightlines clean through connected kitchen, dining and living zones. The Natural finish gives a comfortable, low-glare surface underfoot.
Fireplace and media walls
Panels at the 6 mm end of the range are light enough to clad a fireplace or media wall, letting the non-repeating veining run full height with only a seam or two.
Shower and bathroom walls
Near-zero absorption makes porcelain at home in wet rooms. Run Polished panels up shower walls for a luminous marble effect with far fewer joints to keep clean.
Formal entries and hallways
A veined 120 x 60 cm floor sets an expectant tone at the front door, and dense porcelain stands up to grit, boots and wet umbrellas without staining.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Vanglih reads as the statement layer, so keep its companions quiet. A single-tone field like Monocolor or the soft greys of Silver LF let the veining lead, while flat-panel cabinetry in white or charcoal and brushed nickel or matte black hardware sit comfortably alongside. Match grout closely to the tile base and keep joints tight so the panels read as one continuous surface rather than a grid.
FAQ
Vanglih Questions
What sizes does Vanglih come in?
Two formats: 120 x 60 cm and 120 x 120 cm, in thicknesses from 6 mm to 12 mm. The square slab covers floors quickly, while the rectangle suits walls, showers and stacked layouts where a directional line helps the room.
Should I choose Natural or Polished?
Polished amplifies the veining and bounces light, ideal for walls and dry floor areas. Natural keeps a softer sheen with more grip, the sensible pick for bathroom floors or anywhere water lands. Many projects mix both, Polished on walls and Natural underfoot.
Is large format porcelain harder to install?
It calls for a flat substrate, a large-format mortar and ideally two sets of hands, so we recommend an installer experienced with panels this size. Done properly, the payoff is a surface with a fraction of the grout joints of standard tile.
Can I see Vanglih before ordering?
Yes, full displays and samples are set out at our Richmond showroom on Bridgeport Road. Walk-ins are welcome weekdays 9 to 5:30 and Saturdays 10 to 5, and bringing cabinet or paint samples helps you judge the veining under real light.
