Padova
Bold marble patterns in large format.

Padova
Padova is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Strong pattern is the point of Padova. Its faces carry bold marble movement, wide veins and confident contrast, across porcelain panels of 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm. Non-repeating production means every panel contributes a different passage of the pattern, so large installations read as a continuous natural composition rather than wallpaper. Polished sharpens the contrast; Natural softens it into something more mineral.
Porcelain lets the boldness go where marble could not: onto kitchen floors, into showers, across busy entries. The material takes stains, moisture and traffic without sealing or fuss, and the fired face keeps its contrast for the life of the installation. For Greater Vancouver projects that want a decisive surface with everyday resilience, Padova makes the case plainly.

Applications
Where Padova Works
Bold kitchen surfaces
A patterned floor or full-height backsplash panel gives a white kitchen its personality, and the non-porous face wipes clean of oil, tomato and turmeric without ever staining.
Hotel-style bathrooms
Strong veining across shower and vanity walls delivers the destination-bathroom effect. Use the Natural finish on wet floors, where a Polished surface would be too slick underfoot.
Entry statement floors
The 120 x 120 cm format lets big pattern greet visitors with few interruptions, and 12 mm floor panels absorb the wear an entrance concentrates.
Retail feature walls
Commercial fit-outs use bold panels to give brands a memorable backdrop, with the lighter 6 mm pieces keeping wall cladding fast to handle and straightforward to set.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Padova needs calm neighbours. White or deep-toned flat cabinetry, plain quartz or solid counters and simple lighting give the pattern authority without noise. If the wider project wants tonal continuity, quiet companions like Elyt or Cream LF from the same large format range carry adjacent floors gracefully. Colour-match the grout to the ground tone, and have the installer photograph a dry layout so you approve the vein composition before setting begins.
FAQ
Padova Questions
How is Padova different from other bold marble looks here?
Collections in this family each interpret marble differently: Padova emphasizes broad, patterned movement, while others like Invictus lean into sweeping directional veins. The distinctions are easiest to see with panels side by side, which is exactly how we display them.
Should bold tile go on the floor or the wall?
Either, rarely both in one room. A bold floor with quiet walls feels grounded; a bold wall with quiet floors feels curated. Doubling up can work in large or minimal spaces, but most homes get more mileage from one committed plane.
Does the pattern affect how much tile to order?
Slightly. Beyond the usual ten percent cutting allowance, strongly patterned collections benefit from a few extra panels so the installer can choose and place the most flattering faces. Spares from the same batch also protect you if a future repair needs matching pattern.
How do I keep the surface looking sharp?
Very little is required. Sweep grit, mop with water or a neutral cleaner, and avoid wax or oil-based products that leave films and dull the contrast. The pattern itself hides everyday dust well, so bold porcelain often looks cleaner longer than plain tile.
