Nexside
Modern stone in large format porcelain.

Nexside
Nexside is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Nexside strips the stone look back to clean, current essentials: a composed mineral face with contemporary tone, produced on porcelain panels of 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm. Non-repeating faces give the surface honest variation without busyness, so it reads as considered rather than decorated. Natural and Polished finishes let the same material serve relaxed floors and sharper feature surfaces.
The porcelain body is what makes the minimalism workable. It resists stains, scratches from daily use, and moisture, all without sealing, so pale modern floors stay pale. Thicknesses from 6 mm to 12 mm cover wall cladding through heavy-traffic floors, a range that suits new builds and full renovations around Greater Vancouver where one surface needs to do several jobs.

Where Nexside Works
Minimalist interiors
Large panels, tight joints and a quiet mineral face suit pared-back schemes where every line counts. The 120 x 120 cm format keeps floors reading as nearly seamless planes.
Kitchen floors and islands
A floor in the Natural finish takes dropped utensils and kitchen spills in stride, and matching panels can clad the island sides for a monolithic, built-in architectural look.
Bathroom suites
Run Nexside across the floor and up the walls for a hotel-style wet room. Non-porous porcelain keeps grout-line maintenance minimal and holds the palette consistent throughout the space.
Office and studio floors
The neutral, current face suits studios and workspaces, and the 12 mm floor panels stand up to rolling chairs, equipment and constant movement without showing visible wear.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Nexside works as connective tissue in a modern home. Pair it with flat-slab cabinetry, aluminum or matte black frames, and large windows, letting texture come from furniture and textiles. Within the large format family it sits comfortably next to Titanium for a cooler, more metallic accent wall, or Prospect where a touch more natural variation is wanted. Keep grout invisible, matched to the tile, and carry one size throughout for the cleanest read.
FAQ
Nexside Questions
Is Nexside cool or warm in tone?
It leans contemporary neutral, and because the collection offers multiple colourways you can steer it cooler or warmer to suit your palette. Tone also shifts subtly between the Natural and Polished finishes, so compare both in the colour you are considering before deciding.
How durable is the surface for a busy household?
Porcelain is fired to a density that resists scratching, staining and moisture, and there is no coating to wear off. Furniture pads and doormats handle the few real risks, dragged metal legs and tracked-in grit. Expect the floor to outlast most of the furniture on it.
Can Nexside clad an island or built-in furniture?
Yes, the thinner panels are frequently used to wrap island bases, counters fronts and built-ins so cabinetry and floor share one material. Your fabricator will mitre edges for clean corners. It is an effective way to make joinery feel architectural rather than applied.
What should I bring to the showroom to choose a colour?
Bring cabinet doors, countertop samples, paint chips and even a cushion cover if it carries your palette. Our Richmond showroom displays Nexside in large pieces under consistent lighting, and comparing your finishes directly against full panels removes most of the guesswork.
