Invictus
Dramatic marble veining in oversized slabs.

Invictus
Invictus is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Invictus is the collection you choose when the surface is the design. Sweeping, high-contrast veining charges across oversized porcelain panels, and because the faces are non-repeating, the drama unfolds differently on every piece. Available in 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm, it is at full power in the Polished finish, where light rakes along the veins; Natural tempers it slightly.
The theatrics cost nothing in practicality. Porcelain will not etch under wine or citrus, never needs sealing, and holds its face through years of traffic and cleaning. That is why dramatic veined slabs like Invictus have become the go-to for statement walls and floors in Vancouver-area custom homes: marble's presence, delivered in a material that tolerates actual living.

Applications
Where Invictus Works
Showpiece feature walls
One or two 120 x 120 cm panels behind a fireplace or bed create an art-wall effect, with veins running uninterrupted where small tile would dice the pattern.
Luxury bathroom surrounds
Wrap the shower and vanity walls in Polished Invictus for the full effect, keeping the floor in the Natural finish where water and soap demand a surer grip underfoot.
Dining and entertaining floors
In rooms built for guests, a veined 120 x 120 cm floor sets the tone the moment people walk in, and cleanup after hosting is a damp mop.
Reception feature floors
Hospitality and office lobbies use dramatic floor-grade panels to signal intent right at the entrance, with the 12 mm thickness specified to handle constant public traffic without complaint.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Treat Invictus as the artwork and everything else as the frame. Plain-front cabinetry, unfussy fixtures and controlled palettes in white, black or deep tones give the veining sole authority. Floors elsewhere can drop to quiet companions like Elyt or Monocolor so the statement stays concentrated. Ask your installer to dry-lay and photograph the layout first; with veining this assertive, deciding which panel goes where is half the design.
FAQ
Invictus Questions
Can I choose how the veins line up?
To a point. Faces are non-repeating rather than sequential, so panels will not book-match like sequential marble slabs, but a good installer will dry-lay the order and orientation to compose the veining across your wall or floor. Reviewing the layout before setting is essential.
Is Invictus too bold for a small room?
Often the opposite. Powder rooms and compact ensuites are ideal, because a short wall shows one dramatic panel like a framed piece. In large rooms, consider confining it to one plane, the floor or a single wall, so the drama has a boundary.
How does it hold up compared to real marble?
Real marble is soft, porous and etches on contact with acids, demanding sealing and care. Invictus is porcelain: near-zero absorption, no sealing, and strong resistance to scratching and staining. Visually you give up little; practically you gain a surface that survives kitchens and kids.
Which finish shows the veining better?
Polished maximizes contrast and reflects light along the veins, which is what most people picture for a statement slab. Natural shows the same pattern with a soft, honed character that suits floors and understated schemes. Seeing both finishes side by side settles it quickly.
