Habitat reads as a modern, quiet stone: soft mineral texture, gentle tonal shifts, and none of the heavy veining of marble looks. Faces are non-repeating across the 120x60 and 120x120 cm formats, so a full wall or floor keeps the subtle randomness of quarried material. Colourways stay in easy, livable neutrals, including grey and taupe.
As porcelain, Habitat absorbs almost no water and never needs sealing, which makes it as practical in a busy family kitchen as it is in a lobby. It is a natural fit for the pared-back interiors common in Metro Vancouver townhomes and condos, where large calm surfaces make compact rooms feel bigger. Thickness ranges from 0.6cm to 1.2cm.

Which finish should I use on floors?
Natural. It has more traction and disguises footprints and dust between cleanings. Polished is better reserved for walls, where its light reflection adds a bit of life to the muted stone face without any slip concern to manage.
Is 120x120 cm too big for a small condo?
Usually the opposite. Fewer grout lines make a compact floor read as one surface, which visually enlarges the room. Your installer will want a flat substrate, which is the main practical consideration with the square format in any size of home.
How do I clean Habitat?
Warm water and a neutral pH cleaner cover day-to-day care. The porcelain face is non-porous, so it does not need sealing, waxing or special products, and spills like coffee or oil wipe away rather than soaking in.
