Fox
Graphite stone in large format porcelain.

Fox
Fox is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Dark surfaces bring instant gravity, and Fox delivers it through a graphite stone face on large format porcelain. The deep grey tones carry subtle mineral movement, kept authentic by non-repeating faces across the 120 x 60 and 120 x 120 cm panels. In the Natural finish it reads like honed basalt; Polished turns the same face into a low, moody sheen.
Porcelain suits dark colours particularly well, since the tone runs consistent and colourfast with no sealing or dressing needed to keep it rich. Fox works hard in Metro Vancouver interiors as a grounding element, anchoring open plans, framing fireplaces and giving bathrooms a boutique-hotel weight, all with a surface that cleans up with water and a neutral cleaner.

Applications
Where Fox Works
Grounding open-plan floors
A graphite 120 x 120 cm floor anchors pale walls and light cabinetry, and the Natural finish keeps the dark surface practical in busy family zones.
Fireplace chimney breasts
Dark panels give a fireplace visual weight and hide smoke marks and handling smudges far better than pale surfaces would. Thinner 6 mm panels keep the cladding weight manageable.
Moody bathrooms
Wrap the walls in Fox with warm lighting for a boutique-hotel feel. Porcelain's non-porous face handles steam and splashes without any change in tone or surface condition.
Restaurant and bar floors
Hospitality floors favour dark, forgiving surfaces that disguise wear between closes. The 12 mm floor panels take chairs, spills and nightly service traffic without complaint or visible damage.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Contrast is what Fox thrives on. Pale oak, cream walls and soft textiles keep the graphite from closing a room in, while brass or copper accents glow against it after dark. Within the large format roster it pairs cleanly with Cream Chamber or Blanco for a two-tone scheme, dark floor and light walls or the reverse. Charcoal grout disappears into the field; a warm white grout, if you want visible joints, turns the layout graphic.
FAQ
Fox Questions
Will a dark floor make my space feel small?
Not if the surrounding surfaces carry light. Dark floors with pale walls and good window exposure read as grounded rather than cramped, and the large format's minimal grout keeps the plane calm. North-facing rooms with little daylight deserve more caution than bright ones.
Does graphite porcelain show dust and footprints?
Dark surfaces show pale dust more than mid-tones do, and Polished shows marks more than Natural. For floors we recommend the Natural finish, where the honed texture and mineral movement disguise daily traffic well. A microfibre dry mop keeps it presentable in minutes.
Is Fox suitable for shower walls?
Yes. Porcelain absorbs essentially no water, so steam and spray leave the panels unaffected, and hard-water spotting wipes off a dark face easily. Keep the shower floor in the Natural finish for grip, and consider warm lighting so the grey reads rich rather than flat.
Can I take a sample home to test lighting?
Please do; dark tiles shift more than most under different light. Visit the Richmond showroom on Bridgeport Road and the team will set you up with pieces to view at home, morning and evening. Walk-ins are welcome through the week and Saturdays.
