Blanco
Pure white in large format slabs.

Blanco
Blanco is part of our premium large format tile collection, offering oversized porcelain tiles and slabs that minimize grout lines and create seamless, contemporary surfaces. Available in our Richmond showroom.
Blanco is a clean architectural white in oversized porcelain, made for interiors that want maximum light and minimum visual noise. The 120x60 and 120x120 cm formats keep grout lines rare, so walls and floors read as continuous bright planes, with just enough surface life in the non-repeating face to avoid the flatness of paint.
White surfaces earn their keep only if they stay white, and porcelain is built for that: near-zero absorption, no sealing, and no yellowing with age or cleaning. Blanco suits north-facing Vancouver rooms starved for light, compact condos that need visual expansion, and kitchens and bathrooms where a bright, hygienic-feeling surface is the brief. Thickness runs 0.6cm to 1.2cm.

Applications
Where Blanco Works
Brightening dark rooms
North-facing living rooms and basement suites gain real brightness from a white floor or walls that bounce available light instead of absorbing it. Use the natural finish underfoot.
Kitchen walls and backsplashes
Blanco behind counters gives the classic white kitchen a seamless upgrade over small format layouts, with one 120x60 cm panel replacing dozens of grouted joints.
Compact bathroom envelopes
Running one white tile across the walls makes a small bathroom feel far larger. Choose polished on walls for sparkle and natural on the floor for grip.
Galleries and clinics
Spaces that need to feel precise and clean, from clinics to showrooms, benefit from the even white field and a surface that tolerates frequent, rigorous cleaning.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Blanco is the quietest backdrop in the large format range, which makes it the safest partner for anything loud: Grace's jade or a veined sintered piece like Brazilian Quarzite Slab both perform against it. In all-white schemes, mix finishes, natural floor with polished walls, so light plays differently across each plane. White grout matched carefully to the tile keeps the seamless illusion; even a slightly grey grout will read as a grid across the room.
FAQ
Blanco Questions
Is Blanco a warm white or a cool white?
It is a fairly neutral white with slight movement in the face. Your lighting decides how it reads: warm LEDs soften it, daylight sharpens it. Compare a sample against your trim paint, since two whites side by side reveal undertones quickly.
Will white floors show every mark?
They show dark debris and hide pale dust, the reverse of a black floor. In practice most households find white easier than expected: dirt is visible, so it gets swept, and the non-porous face means nothing leaves a permanent mark.
What is the right grout for a seamless look?
A quality white grout matched as closely as possible to the tile, in the narrowest joint your installer approves. Ask about stain-resistant grout for kitchen floors, since the grout, not the porcelain, is the only part that can discolour.
Can I view Blanco installed at scale?
Our Richmond showroom has large format displays where you can stand back from full panels, which is the realistic way to judge a white: small chips look identical, but whole walls reveal the subtle texture that keeps Blanco from feeling sterile.
