Town Mosaic
Urban stone in 2x2 mosaic format.

Town Mosaic
Town Mosaic delivers the sophisticated urban stone aesthetic of the Town collection in a 2x2 square mosaic format. Perfect for modern shower floors and bathroom accents.
Town Mosaic rounds out the 2x2 mosaic family with the urban stone look of the Town collection in four colours: Antracite, Grey, Beige and Soft Grey. That range is its advantage, spanning cool charcoal to warm neutral so one collection can serve differently styled rooms. Chips are glazed porcelain on 12x12 sheets with non-repeating faces.
The 8mm matte porcelain build is meant for real use: shower pans, niches, backsplashes and accent floors, all without sealing or cautious cleaning. Beige and Soft Grey in particular fill a gap in mosaic offerings for Metro Vancouver projects that want contemporary stone texture on the warmer side of the neutral spectrum.

Applications
Where Town Mosaic Works
Shower pans
Standard mosaic logic applies here: sheets follow the slope, the grout grid grips wet feet, and the stone faces hide daily soap film. Soft Grey is a particularly forgiving pan colour.
Warm-toned backsplashes
Beige brings stone texture to kitchens and laundries that skew warm, a combination harder to find in mosaic than the usual greys, and it flatters wood cabinetry especially well.
Feature walls
Antracite across a full wall behind a vanity or tub gives weight and urban character, with the mosaic grid adding a shadowline texture that flat tile lacks.
Entry floor insets
A mosaic panel set inside a larger tiled entry adds grip where boots drip and marks the threshold as a deliberate detail rather than a material change of convenience.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
The Town field collection carries the same urban stone look in large formats, so pans and niches can match walls exactly. On the warm side, Ash Mosaic is a natural companion if another bathroom in the project leans limestone; on the cool side, Masterstone CX Mosaic keeps the same format in crisper greys. Black window frames, concrete counters and warm oak all suit the palette. Match grout to the chips on floors, and consider one shade darker in heavy-use showers.
FAQ
Town Mosaic Questions
Which of the four colours is most versatile?
Grey and Soft Grey are the workhorses, sitting comfortably with most counters and paint colours. Beige is the pick for warm schemes with wood and brass, while Antracite is strongest as a niche, accent band or feature wall rather than a whole room.
Is Town Mosaic slippery when wet?
The combination working in your favour is a matte glaze plus a grout joint every two inches, which functions like a tread pattern. That is why 2x2 mosaics are the conventional choice for shower floors ahead of larger, smoother formats.
Does it coordinate with the Town large format tile?
Yes, it is produced as the mosaic complement to the Town collection, sharing colouring and surface character. A shower with Town walls and a Town Mosaic pan reads as one continuous material with a change in scale rather than a mismatch.
How much extra should I order?
Add about ten percent over your measured area to cover trimming around drains, niches and edges. Because each sheet is a square foot, quantities are easy to estimate, and we can double-check your take-off with you before you place the order.
