Grey Wind Mosaic

Grey Wind Mosaic captures the flowing patterns of the Grey Wind collection in a 2x2 square mosaic format. The varied grey tones create sophisticated accent surfaces for showers and feature walls.

Movement is the defining trait of Grey Wind Mosaic. The 2x2 chips carry the flowing, wind-drawn patterning of the Grey Wind collection across three greys, Light Grey, Grey and Antracite, and because the faces never repeat, sheets blend into a surface with genuine drift and direction rather than a static, checkerboard grid.

As glazed porcelain at 8mm, it handles the wettest jobs a mosaic gets asked to do. Nothing about a daily shower routine affects it, and there is no sealing schedule to remember. For the grey-forward palettes common in Metro Vancouver condos and new builds, it offers three coordinated depths from a single collection.

Applications

Where Grey Wind Mosaic Works

Wet room floors

Sheets follow the pan's slope cleanly and the matte chips with tight grout spacing keep footing secure. The flowing pattern also disguises water marks between regular cleanings.

Feature walls

Run floor to ceiling behind a vanity or bath, the drifting grey pattern builds real atmosphere, with the mosaic grid adding a layer of texture a large tile cannot.

Backsplash accents

The three greys make it simple to bridge countertop and cabinet tones in a kitchen or laundry, and the movement in the faces keeps a single-colour backsplash from going flat.

Shower niches

An Antracite niche set into a Light Grey wall creates depth using one collection, keeping the recess coordinated instead of introducing an unrelated accent tile from outside.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

Grey Wind field tile carries the same flowing pattern into large formats for walls and main floors, making the mosaic a seamless drop-in for pans and niches. Masterstone CX Mosaic and StoneMood CX Mosaic share the format and general temperature if you are coordinating several bathrooms from one family of products. Chrome and matte black hardware both work, and white counters keep the greys crisp. A grout half a shade darker than the chips hides shower grime gracefully.

FAQ

Grey Wind Mosaic Questions

How different are the three greys?

Light Grey is a soft, airy tone for keeping small showers bright, Grey is a true mid grey, and Antracite is a deep charcoal. The pattern movement is consistent across all three, so they layer together comfortably within one room or scheme.

Does the pattern line up between sheets?

The faces are non-repeating and designed to blend rather than align, so there is no pattern matching to manage during installation. Rotating sheets occasionally, as installers usually do anyway, keeps the flow looking random and natural across the whole surface.

Can it be used outside a bathroom?

It is an indoor floor and wall product, so kitchens, laundries, entries and fireplace surrounds are all fair game. It is not intended for exterior use, where frost exposure calls for products specifically designed for outdoor installation, such as 2cm pavers.

Are samples available?

Yes. Sheets of each colour are available to view and borrow from our Richmond showroom, and we recommend checking them in your own lighting. Greys shift noticeably between showroom lighting and the LED or daylight conditions of a home bathroom.
