Purestone mosaic tiles capture the rich texture of natural sandstone in small mosaic formats, ideal for shower floors, niches, and feature walls.
Sandstone has a fine, layered grain that reads beautifully at small scale, and Purestone Mosaic is built around exactly that. Taken from the Purestone collection, the chips carry the stone's soft texture in Bianco, Grigio and Piombo, from bright neutral through to deep lead grey, with non-repeating faces that keep sheets from looking duplicated.
Natural sandstone is one of the more absorbent stones and a poor fit for wet rooms, but this porcelain interpretation is the opposite, with near-zero absorption and no sealing ever required. Offered in matte and velvet finishes, it brings a tactile, mineral quality to Vancouver area bathrooms and feature walls that stand up to daily use.

Curbless shower floors
Small chips track the subtle grading a curbless shower needs, and the closely spaced grout joints supply traction where a smooth single surface would be a risk.
Shower niches
A niche faced in Piombo inside a lighter Bianco surround adds depth to the wall composition, and one or two sheets are usually enough to line the entire recess.
Feature walls
Across a full wall behind a bath or vanity, the sandstone grain and non-repeating faces build a surface with genuine movement, more textile than tile from a few steps back.

What is the velvet finish?
Velvet sits between a standard matte and a honed surface: smooth to the hand with a soft, low sheen that catches light gently. It is popular on walls and niches, while the regular matte is the usual call for shower floors and wet areas.
Which colour should I choose for a shower floor?
Grigio is the most forgiving in daily use, masking soap film and mineral spots between cleanings. Bianco keeps a small shower bright, and Piombo makes a strong base under lighter walls. All three share the same sandstone grain, so it is mostly a question of contrast.
