StoneMood Slab
Natural stone in sintered slab format.

StoneMood Slab
StoneMood Slab is a premium sintered stone slab offering exceptional durability, heat resistance, and UV stability. Ideal for countertops, feature walls, and large-format flooring. Sintered stone combines the beauty of natural materials with the performance of advanced ceramics. Available at our Richmond showroom.
StoneMood Slab works the quiet middle of the palette: silver and grey colourways with a natural stone character, carried across 48x110 inch sintered panels. It is the material equivalent of a well-cut grey suit, composed, adaptable and hard to date, offered in a polished finish for light play or matte for a honed stone feel.
Being sintered stone, the 6mm panel is non-porous, heat and scratch resistant, and stable under UV, with no sealing at any point in its life. Its indoor and outdoor rating across counters, walls and floors makes it a versatile specification for Metro Vancouver kitchens, bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces that want one dependable grey running through them.

Applications
Where StoneMood Slab Works
Hardworking family counters
Grey conceals crumbs and water marks better than white or black, and the sintered surface adds heat and stain immunity, a genuinely practical combination for daily-use kitchens.
Shower and tub surrounds
Large 48x110 inch panels wrap wet zones with almost no grout lines, and the stone face gives bathrooms a natural depth that flat acrylic surrounds cannot approach.
Commercial counters and desks
Reception desks, cafe counters and washroom vanities benefit from a surface that ignores coffee, cleaners and constant contact while keeping a professional neutral face through years of service.
Covered outdoor surfaces
The grey tones and UV-stable body suit outdoor kitchens and counters under cover, where they weather coastal conditions without fading or absorbing moisture, season after season.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Grey is the palette's diplomat, so StoneMood partners widely: white cabinetry for freshness, walnut for warmth, black for a graphic scheme. It layers naturally over large format floors like Arkety LF or Habitat, where the greys can shift tone between surfaces without clashing. Add one warm element, wood, leather or brass, to keep the scheme from going cold, and use texture in textiles to bring softness against the stone.
FAQ
StoneMood Slab Questions
What is the difference between the silver and grey tones?
Silver is the lighter, slightly cooler of the two, while grey carries more depth and weight. Side by side the difference is clear; in isolation both read as versatile mid-greys. Viewing them together makes the choice for your light conditions straightforward.
Is StoneMood suitable for a kitchen island?
Very much so. The 48x110 inch panel tops most islands without a seam, and sintered stone's heat, scratch and stain resistance suits the busiest spot in the house. Matte is the common finish choice for the working surface.
How does it hold up outdoors in our climate?
Sintered stone absorbs essentially no water, so freeze-thaw cycles cannot crack it the way they attack porous stone, and UV stability keeps the grey tones true. It is a sound choice for covered outdoor counters in the Lower Mainland.
Do you offer installation as well as supply?
Yes, Ace Premium Tile & Stone offers both supply-only and supply and install. For slab work we coordinate fabrication details like cutting, edges and support so the finished counters and walls match what you planned in the showroom.
