Aquamarine Slab

Aquamarine Slab is a premium sintered stone slab offering exceptional durability, heat resistance, and UV stability. Ideal for countertops, feature walls, and large-format flooring. Sintered stone combines the beauty of natural materials with the performance of advanced ceramics. Available at our Richmond showroom.

Blue is rare in stone, which is exactly what makes Aquamarine Slab memorable: a 48x110 inch sintered stone panel in deep ocean blue, with a black colourway for those who want the drama without the colour. Polished brings out the depth of the tones, while matte keeps them soft and mineral, closer to honed stone.

Sintered stone is fused from minerals under extreme heat and pressure, so the 6mm panel resists heat, scratches and UV while absorbing essentially nothing. It works indoors and out, on floors, walls and countertops, which means a Metro Vancouver kitchen island, a bathroom feature wall or a covered patio bar can all carry the same striking blue.

Applications

Where Aquamarine Slab Works

Statement kitchen islands

One 48x110 inch panel wraps or tops an island with no seams, and sintered stone takes hot pots and knife slips without sealing or special care.

Bar and beverage counters

A blue slab bar top turns a basement lounge or restaurant counter into the centrepiece of the room, and spilled wine or citrus cannot etch the non-porous face.

Bathroom feature walls

At just 6mm thick the panels are light enough to clad the wall behind a freestanding tub, delivering full-height colour with almost no visible joints.

Outdoor kitchens

UV stability means the blue holds outdoors, where resin-based surfaces fade. Use it for covered patio counters and BBQ surrounds that need to survive coastal weather.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

A blue this assertive wants neutral company: white flat-panel cabinetry, pale oak, and brushed nickel or matte black tapware. On floors around it, keep the field simple with something like Blanco or Silver LF from the large format range. The black colourway flips the mood entirely, working with charcoal kitchens and brass accents. Whichever tone you choose, let the slab be the only saturated surface in view.

FAQ

Aquamarine Slab Questions

Is blue hard to live with long term?

Deep blue behaves like navy in fashion: closer to a neutral than people expect. Because everything around it can stay white, wood and metal, the room updates easily over the years while the slab remains the anchor it was chosen to be.

Can Aquamarine Slab be used as a countertop?

Yes, countertops are one of its core applications. Sintered stone resists heat, scratching and staining without any sealing, so it handles kitchen duty well. Your fabricator will cut and finish the 48x110 inch panel to your layout.

What is the difference between polished and matte here?

Polished deepens the blue and reflects light, striking on walls and low-traffic counters. Matte is softer, hides fingerprints and water spots better, and feels more like honed stone. Many projects use matte on horizontal surfaces and polished vertically.

How do I see the actual colour?

Colour is the whole decision with this slab, so visit the Richmond showroom to view it full size under good light. Photographs shift blues badly, and the difference between the polished and matte faces is easier to judge in person.
