Neotec

Neotec delivers a modern industrial aesthetic in durable porcelain. The bold dark tones and contemporary texture create powerful, sophisticated surfaces for modern residential and commercial interiors.

Neotec takes its cues from industrial surfaces: flat, even colour, subtle texture, and nothing decorative. It comes in Black, Grey and White, all matte, in 24x24 and 24x48 formats with non-repeating faces so large areas stay visually even without looking machine-stamped. The result is a background tile in the truest sense, one that lets furniture, art and architecture do the talking.

As an 8mm glazed porcelain for indoor floors and walls, it needs no sealing and takes hard use in stride. The aesthetic suits lofts, modern basements, home gyms and commercial spaces around Metro Vancouver, and the three colours are close siblings, so mixing them across different zones of one project stays coherent.

Applications

Where Neotec Works

Loft and condo floors

Matte grey or black in the 24x48 format underlines a modern interior without pattern noise, and the porcelain surface shrugs off rolling chairs, pets and daily traffic.

Home gyms and basements

A hard, even, dark floor hides use and cleans fast. Porcelain is unaffected by moisture, a real consideration in below-grade rooms in a wet climate.

Minimal bathrooms

All-matte surfaces suit wet rooms, and running one colour floor to wall creates the pared-back look this collection is built for. White keeps small bathrooms feeling open.

Offices and retail

Neutral, durable and visually quiet, Neotec suits commercial floors and feature walls where the merchandise or the work should hold attention rather than the tile itself.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

Concrete-adjacent tile likes contrast in material rather than colour: raw wood shelving, black steel, felt and leather all sit naturally against Neotec. Match the grout to the tile so surfaces read as planes, not grids. If you want slightly more surface character in the same industrial direction, Soft Cement adds a cement patina, and Viper pushes the texture further; both hang in the same European porcelain range at the showroom.

FAQ

Neotec Questions

Is Neotec the same as a cement look tile?

Close, but flatter and more uniform. Cement look tiles usually imitate trowel marks and patina; Neotec keeps the surface more even for a cleaner, more technical appearance. If you are deciding between the two moods, compare it against Soft Cement, which carries more visible movement.

Which size should I use?

Use 24 x 48 where you want the fewest grout lines, especially open floors and tall walls. The 24 x 24 square suits smaller rooms, borders and layouts where a grid pattern is intentional. Both sizes come in all three colours, so mixing sizes is straightforward.

Will black show dust and footprints?

A matte black hides marks far better than gloss, but any dark floor shows fine dust sooner than a mid grey. If you love the dark look and want lower upkeep, Grey delivers a similar mood with more forgiveness. Regular dry mopping keeps either looking sharp.

Does Neotec work on walls too?

Yes, it is rated for indoor floors and walls, and full-height matte walls are one of its strongest uses, in showers, behind stoves with appropriate clearances, or as a backdrop for open shelving. The 8mm porcelain installs on walls with standard thin-set methods.
