Masterstone CX

Masterstone CX offers a refined natural stone aesthetic in an extensive range of sizes from mosaic to oversized 48x110 slabs. Available in graphite, silver, and white, this collection provides versatility for any project scale with consistent quality from Poland.

Size range is the headline with Masterstone CX: the same stone face runs from a 2x2 mosaic through 24x24 and 24x48 up to a 48x110 panel. Three colours, Graphite, Silver and White, come in polished or matte with non-repeating faces, so an entire project can stay in one material from the shower floor to a wall-sized slab.

The field tiles are 8mm glazed porcelain and the oversized panels come in a 6mm profile, keeping big pieces manageable to handle and install. Nothing needs sealing and everything cleans easily, which suits projects from Metro Vancouver family bathrooms to commercial feature walls, and lets designers match small and large surfaces without hunting across collections.

Applications

Where Masterstone CX Works

Wall-sized panels

The 48 x 110 format covers a shower wall or fireplace in one or two pieces, with grout joints all but eliminated and the stone pattern running uninterrupted.

Full bathroom packages

Mosaic for the shower pan, 24x24 for the floor, 24x48 for the walls: one colour and finish across every surface, with all formats drawn from the same face designs.

Kitchen floors and backsplashes

Matte Graphite or Silver on the floor with a panel-format backsplash gives a kitchen a continuous stone character that wipes down after cooking without special care.

Commercial feature surfaces

Reception walls, elevator surrounds and commercial washrooms benefit from the large panel format, while the smaller sizes handle floor areas, keeping an entire fit-out inside one specification.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

Masterstone CX is easiest to pair by temperature: Silver and White sit well with cool palettes, glass and chrome, while Graphite warms up beside oak, walnut and brass. Because the collection covers every format itself, the more useful pairing is contrast, a veined accent such as Marquina CX in a niche, or the softer Lounge Stone in an adjoining room. Tone-matched grout keeps the large formats looking monolithic.

FAQ

Masterstone CX Questions

How are the 48x110 panels installed?

Large panels call for an installer experienced with thin porcelain formats: a flat substrate, appropriate trowels and lippage control, and two people to handle each piece. The 6mm profile keeps the weight workable. We can talk through the requirements with your contractor, and supply-and-install is also available.

Why are there two thicknesses?

The standard field sizes are 8mm, which is typical for floor-rated porcelain. The 48 x 110 panel is produced at 6mm so it stays light enough to transport and set on walls. Both share the same faces and finishes, so mixed installations still match.

How do the three colours differ?

Graphite is a deep charcoal with lighter movement, Silver is a mid grey, and White is bright with soft grey structure. All three read as natural stone rather than marble, quieter than a veined tile, which is why the collection works across very large surfaces.

Can I use polished Masterstone on a shower floor?

No, keep polished off wet floors. Use the matte finish there, or better, the 2x2 mosaic, which adds grout lines for traction and lets the pan slope to the drain. Polished belongs on walls and dry areas where its light reflection can work safely.
