Identity
Modern graphite stone with crystal finish.

Identity
Identity features a sophisticated graphite stone aesthetic with a unique Silky Crystal Lappato finish. This semi-polished surface creates a contemporary, refined look that catches light beautifully while maintaining a subtle texture.
A single colour done well can carry a whole room, and Identity commits to graphite. The surface pairs a stone pattern with a Silky Crystal Lappato finish, a semi-polished treatment that catches light in soft ripples while keeping a hint of texture. Faces are non-repeating, so a full wall or floor of the 24x48 tiles reads as continuous stone rather than a printed pattern.
As glazed porcelain at 8mm, Identity is made for indoor floors and walls and needs no sealing, with near-zero water absorption and easy cleaning. The dark tone suits contemporary condos, dens and media rooms around Metro Vancouver, and it holds up in commercial settings such as offices and restaurant interiors where a deeper palette hides everyday scuffing.

Applications
Where Identity Works
Living and dining floors
The 24x48 format covers larger rooms with fewer grout lines, and the lappato sheen lifts the graphite so a dark floor still feels bright under evening lighting.
Feature and fireplace walls
Graphite with a soft crystal sheen makes a strong backdrop for fireplaces, TV walls and headboard walls, giving depth without the maintenance of natural dark stone.
Bathroom walls
Porcelain is unaffected by steam and splashes, and the semi-polished surface wipes clean easily. Run it floor to ceiling in an ensuite for a moody, hotel-style feel.
Commercial interiors
An 8mm glazed porcelain in a dark, non-repeating stone pattern suits reception areas, restaurants and retail floors where durability and easy upkeep matter every single day.
Design Notes
Pairing & Layout Ideas
Graphite works hardest when the rest of the room stays warm. Pair Identity with white oak millwork, brass or matte black plumbing, and off-white walls to keep the space from feeling heavy. In a bathroom, use it on the walls above a lighter floor such as Masterstone CX in silver. If you like the tone but want a more industrial texture, compare it against Neotec in the same sitting.
FAQ
Identity Questions
What kind of finish is Silky Crystal Lappato?
It is a semi-polished surface. The tile is partially honed so high points take on a soft shine while the rest stays satin, giving light reflection without a full mirror gloss. It shows fewer smudges than a fully polished tile and reads especially well on walls under directional lighting.
Is Identity suitable for shower floors?
We would steer you to walls and dry floors. The lappato sheen is smoother than a plain matte, so for shower pans and wet floor areas a matte tile or a small-format mosaic with more grout lines is a safer choice. Identity works beautifully on the surrounding walls.
What size does Identity come in?
One format, 24 x 48 inches, in graphite. The large rectangle keeps grout joints to a minimum and suits both floors and full-height walls. Because the faces are non-repeating, adjoining tiles will not show an obvious duplicated pattern across a big installation.
Can I see a full piece before ordering?
Yes. Samples and displays are set up at our Richmond showroom on Bridgeport Road, and walk-ins are welcome. Seeing a full 24 x 48 piece under showroom lighting is the reliable way to judge how the crystal lappato finish behaves in real light.
