Terravena

Terravena offers a soft, warm interpretation of classic travertine with gentle tonal variations and organic texture. Ideal for creating calm, sophisticated interiors.

Terravena dials travertine down to a whisper. The stone patterning is present but soft, with gentle tonal drift rather than pronounced swirls or bands, offered in three colourways: Bianco, Crema and a smoky Fume. Non-repeating faces keep large areas from looking printed, and the matte finish completes the honed, understated character of the collection.

It is porcelain, so the calm surface is also the tough one in the room: resistant to stains, scratches and moisture, with no sealing ever required. Terravena suits Metro Vancouver homeowners after warmth without pattern, minimalist interiors, Japandi-leaning designs, and any space where the floor should be felt more than noticed.

Where Terravena Works

Minimalist interiors

When the design language is quiet, a heavily veined floor argues with it. Terravena provides texture at a murmur, letting furniture and light lead the room.

Bedroom and hallway floors

Soft patterning in Crema or Bianco keeps private spaces serene, and porcelain laid over radiant heating makes a tiled bedroom floor as comfortable as carpet in a Vancouver winter.

Wet room bathrooms

A single subtle tile across a curbless wet room floor and walls makes the space feel bigger. The matte finish keeps footing dependable across the whole floor.

Open kitchen and dining

Terravena runs through connected kitchen and dining zones without visual seams or busy pattern, and its forgiving mid-tones hide crumbs, dust and footprints between weekly cleanings.

Design Notes

Pairing & Layout Ideas

Keep company as calm as the tile: limewash or flat paint, pale woods, linen and boucle textures, and slim matte black or brushed nickel fixtures. Fume grounds a light room; Bianco and Crema brighten a dark one. Grout matched tightly to the tile colour preserves the seamless effect. If you decide you want slightly more stone character, Florence and Solaro sit one step up in visible patterning.

FAQ

Terravena Questions

How subtle is Terravena really?

From across a room it reads almost as a solid colour with soft movement; up close the travertine patterning is clear. That makes it a good choice when you want stone warmth without the floor becoming a pattern statement. Samples show this better than photos.

Which colourway should I pick?

Bianco is the lightest and suits bright, airy schemes; Crema adds gentle warmth that flatters wood tones; Fume is the smoky, deeper option for moodier or more modern rooms. All three share identical sizing and finish, so the decision is purely tonal.

Is it suitable for bathroom floors?

Yes. The finish is matte, which gives sensible traction when damp, and porcelain is unaffected by water. For inside the shower, ask about cutting the tile down or pairing it with a mosaic so the floor can slope properly to the drain.

Can I take samples home before committing?

Absolutely. Pick up samples of all three colourways from the Richmond showroom on Bridgeport Road and view them in your own lighting at different times of day. Subtle tiles shift more with light than bold ones, so the home test matters here.
