Wood floors ask for compromises in wet rooms; Oak Wood does not. This porcelain plank reproduces natural oak in 8x48 boards across White, Beige and Grey, with seven distinct face designs so grain patterns vary from plank to plank the way sawn timber does. The matte finish keeps the surface convincingly close to oiled wood rather than a glossy imitation.
Underneath the grain is 1cm porcelain rated for indoor floors and walls, immune to the moisture, scratches and fading that limit real hardwood. That makes Oak Wood a practical answer for Metro Vancouver bathrooms, kitchens, entries and basements where owners want wood continuity through the whole floor plan, including the rooms hardwood cannot safely go.

Does Oak Wood actually look like real wood?

How should wood look planks be laid out?
A random stagger works well, with each row offset by no more than about a third of the plank length. Long planks laid at a 50 percent offset can highlight any natural bowing, so installers avoid it. Herringbone is also possible with 8x48 boards for a more tailored floor.
Is grout very visible between planks?
With a grout colour matched to the plank tone and a narrow joint, grout lines recede and the floor reads as wood. Your installer will recommend the joint width; wood look tile is typically set with tighter joints than square stone look formats.
